April 9, 2026 Special Report: TNVR DECRIMINALIZED! Kansas Pet Advocated Announcement

Bravo Pet Advocates! TNVR DECRIMINALIZED -HB 2413 Approved by the Governor

This just in! Governor Laura Kelly has approved HB 2413. The contents of HB 2535, the bill decriminalizing trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) for feral cats, was bundled with several other bills and passed as a conference committee report (CCR) in HB 2413. Both the Senate and the House passed it UNANIMOUSLY, and it has just been APPROVED by Governor Laura Kelly.

Thank you to everyone who wrote, testified and pushed for this bill! It made a difference.

Now Lets get SB 344 into a CCR

We need your HELP NOW to get SB 344 to be included in a conference committee report and passed this week.

Urgent action is needed. Legislators have returned to the Capitol for the VETO Session.

Without SB 344, newborn puppies and kittens will be unnecessarily euthanized. Many shelters are not equipped to provide the 24-hour care these orphaned neonates require, only foster families can give them a chance to survive.

ACT NOW! Click the link below to email your legislators today to help save puppies and kittens.

Thank you.
